Ketu South NADMO director to contest NDC chair.

Reports indicate that the National Disaster and Management Organization (NADMO) director and the current organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ketu South Constituency, Ferguson Ahorlu is set to declare his intention to contest the constituency chairmanship position of the NDC.


Sources within the NDC say the contest will be fierce with Mr. Ahorlu declaring his intention.


The current NADMO director  has also expressed his interest in contesting the constituency chairmanship position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).


According to him he has received so many calls from the rank and file of the party to contribute his quota in order to retain the NDC in power in the 2028 election.


Mr. Ahorlu, who is currently organiser of the Ketu South of the NDC for three consecutives, will face stiff competition from other contestants but time will tell if the race will be competitive for him


Fafaa Fm can also report that there is intense competition within the party over who becomes the constituency chairman.

89-year-old Fetish Priest crowned the overall Best farmer for 2025 in Ketu South.

  Torgbui Nuwordu, a fetish priest from Klikor has been crowned the overall best farmer in the Ketu municipal at the  41st National Best Farmers day held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Agbozume Logove A M.E Zion School park.  He took home a tricycle, 10 cutlasses, 2 pairs of wellington boots, 4 bottles of herbicides, 4 bottles of insecticides, 1 spraying machine, 1 50kg bag of NPK, 1 50kg bag of Urea and a flat screen TV. Torgbui Nuwordu beat 8 other contestants. His scale of operation includes maize 62.5 acres, Cassava 52 acres, Okro 10 acres, Cowpea 10 acres, Chilli Paper 5 acres, Coconut 5 acres, 20 Cattle, 30 goats, 10 sheeps, 10 Turkeys, 20 Guinea Fowls, 20 doves and 175 local poultry The over 60 years experience farmer receiving his award, thanked the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country. The beneficiaries received assorted relief items, including fertilizers, mattresses, bags of rice, and cooking oil, to help mitigate the impact of the disaster. Presenting the items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worklatsi, at the premises of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly on Thursday, July 30, 2026, the Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr. Ferguson Ahorlu, noted that the value of the destroyed farms far exceeded the relief package provided.
