  The Municipal Chief Executive of the Ketu South Municipality Hon. Nicholas Worklatsi,  on Tuesday  officially handed over a 5-acre parcel of land at Glidzi in the  Klikor traditional area for the commencement of the proposed 24-hour market project in the municipality. The project, which forms part of the ruling National Democratic Congress's campaign promises of President John Dramani Mahama, will be executed by El-de Grandeur Consult Limited led by Mr. Dzifa Kumordzie. The assembly member for Blekusu Electoral Area in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta region, has donated over 110 free school uniforms to two (2) basic schools within his Electoral Area.  The donation formed part of his love for education and wish that every child feel belonged. In a brief ceremony to present the uniforms to the schools, the Assembly member , Mr. Raphael Nukamewor, said "These uniforms will be distributed to students with either tattered uniforms or those who wore house dresses because they had no uniform." Mr. Nukamewor stated that the distribution of the free school uniforms re-emphasizes his commitment  towards making education attractive and accessible to the vulnerable people in the society.
