The assembly member for Tackscorner Electoral Area in the Ketu South Constituency Lord Dotsey Hammond Agbogedenu, popular known as "Chairman Lord" has declared his intention to contest for the position of Ketu South Constituency Youth Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). Mr Agbogedenu, in an interview, confirmed his readiness to file for nominations when the process opens, saying he is heeding to calls from party faithful who believe he is best suited to serve the party’s youth front in the constituency. “There have been calls for so long.  February 18, 2026 The former Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ketu South constituency, Elolo White Kelie, has formally announced his intention to contest as the party's chairman of the constituency. Hon Ferguson Ahorlu February 16, 2025  Reports indicate that the National Disaster and Management Organization (NADMO) director and the current organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Ketu South Constituency, Ferguson Ahorlu is set to declare his intention to contest the constituency chairmanship position of the NDC. February 7, 2025 The chiefs and people of Nogokpo in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region today, Saturday, February 7, undertook a massive cleanup exercise to rid the town of filth and promote communal unity. The exercise led by the divisional chief of the town, Torgbui Sabah V; the assembly member, Hon. Jonas Fotor Agbagba, the unit committee members, the opinion leaders and the residents cleared and swept the town's bushy cemetery. Torgbui Sabah urged residents to stay united and proposed regu­lar cleanup exercises to maintain the town’s cleanliness, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in keeping Nogokpo clean and beautiful.
