Torgbui Tenuvi II to distribute mathematical sets to BECE candidates.

Torgbui Tenuvi II, a development chief of Aflao traditional council in the Ketu South Municipality, is set to distribute  over 4,000 mathematical sets to all candidates preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as part of efforts to support education in the municipality.


The initiative, scheduled for April 30, 2026, forms part of his intervention aimed at equipping final-year junior high school students with essential examination materials and boosting their confidence ahead of the nationwide exams.


According to Torgbui Tenuvi, the exercise underscores his commitment to investing in education and ensuring that no candidate is disadvantaged due to a lack of basic learning tools. The distribution will become a consistent feature of his support for students in Ketu South.

He noted that providing mathematical sets, is an essential requirement for the BECE, not only eases the financial burden on parents but also motivates students to take their studies seriously and approach the exams with confidence.


Torgbui Tenuvi reiterated that education remains a key priority, emphasizing that empowering students today is critical to building a stronger future for the community and the country at large. He added that such interventions will be sustained and, where possible, expanded to reach even more students in the years ahead.

89-year-old Fetish Priest crowned the overall Best farmer for 2025 in Ketu South.

  Torgbui Nuwordu, a fetish priest from Klikor has been crowned the overall best farmer in the Ketu municipal at the  41st National Best Farmers day held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Agbozume Logove A M.E Zion School park.  He took home a tricycle, 10 cutlasses, 2 pairs of wellington boots, 4 bottles of herbicides, 4 bottles of insecticides, 1 spraying machine, 1 50kg bag of NPK, 1 50kg bag of Urea and a flat screen TV. Torgbui Nuwordu beat 8 other contestants. Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country. The beneficiaries received assorted relief items, including fertilizers, mattresses, bags of rice, and cooking oil, to help mitigate the impact of the disaster.
