Hon. Xornam Alayi-Hussey Rewards Winners of Ghana vs Colombia Predict-and-Win Competition.

Hon. Xornam Alayi-Hussey, the Ketu South Constituency Deputy Women Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Women Organizer Hopeful has presented prizes to winners of the Ghana vs Colombia Predict-and-Win competition organized by Team Xornam.


The competition attracted an overwhelming response, with more than 5,000 football fans submitting their predictions ahead of the match.


Following the draw, 15 lucky winners were rewarded with a variety of prizes, including Standing Fans, Electric Irons, Ear Pods, Electric Kettles, Mobile Phones, Solar Streetlights, Computer Mice, Ghana Jerseys and Vaccum Cleaner.



Most of the winners were drawn from the Ketu South and Keta municipalities.



Speaking after receiving their prizes, the beneficiaries expressed heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Xornam Alayi-Hussey and her Team for honouring their promise. 


They said they had participated in several similar online prediction competitions organized by other companies but were often left disappointed as promised prizes were never delivered.



The winners praised Team Xornam for demonstrating transparency and credibility by ensuring that every promised prize reached its rightful recipient.



Addressing the gathering, Hon. Xornam Alayi-Hussey thanked participants for their trust and enthusiasm. She also expressed profound gratitude to her husband, the founder of the Dei Foundation, for his vision and unwavering commitment to supporting communities through such initiatives.



She reaffirmed the Team's commitment to creating more opportunities that engage and reward members of the public, while encouraging young people to continue believing in genuine initiatives that promote fairness and community development.



The successful presentation of prizes has further strengthened public confidence in Hon. Xornam Alayi-Hussey and Team Xornam, with many participants commending the Team for fulfilling its pledge and setting a positive example for similar promotional campaigns.

89-year-old Fetish Priest crowned the overall Best farmer for 2025 in Ketu South.

  Torgbui Nuwordu, a fetish priest from Klikor has been crowned the overall best farmer in the Ketu municipal at the  41st National Best Farmers day held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Agbozume Logove A M.E Zion School park.  He took home a tricycle, 10 cutlasses, 2 pairs of wellington boots, 4 bottles of herbicides, 4 bottles of insecticides, 1 spraying machine, 1 50kg bag of NPK, 1 50kg bag of Urea and a flat screen TV. Torgbui Nuwordu beat 8 other contestants. Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country. The beneficiaries received assorted relief items, including fertilizers, mattresses, bags of rice, and cooking oil, to help mitigate the impact of the disaster. Presenting the items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worklatsi, at the premises of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly on Thursday, July 30, 2026, the Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr. Ferguson Ahorlu, noted that the value of the destroyed farms far exceeded the relief package provided.
