Torgbui Tenuvi II extends his support to flood victims in Agbozume.

Mr. Felix Akonta Akakpo also known as Torgbui Tenuvi II a youth Chief of the Aflao Traditional Council has supported 275 residents of Agbozume in the Ketu South Municipality who were affected by the recent floods across the entire country.


A team led by Torgbui Tenuvi's brother, Mr Dynamic Akakpo, comprising personnel from the Ketu South National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) presented the relief items to the people in dire need.



The relief items presented include 250 Kilograms of rice, 10 cartons of sardines, 200 mosquito nets, 4 sacks of maize, 200 litters of cooking oil, and 10 cartons of spaghetti.


The presentation was held at the forecourt of Torgbuiga Hor's Palace.

Beneficiaries were drawn from Agbozume- Logove Electoral Area, including Amefinukope, Babanawokope, and Agbozume Zongo.



Other communities includes Agbozume Sukladzi and E.P Kpota in the Agbozume North Electoral Area.


Mr. Dynamic Akakpo on his brother's behalf noted that the flooding remains a national challenge and many aspects of which are preventable. 



"Building on waterways must be a nonstarter. Local Assemblies must act decisively to redeem public confidence and give the people hope for a better future and must all commit to pragmatic, lasting solution"  he stated.


"My solidarity is with everyone affected by the recent devastating floods, and I extend my heartfelt condolences to families who lost loved ones across the country during the disaster. It is well" he concluded.


Receiving the items on behalf of Logove Electoral Area, the Assembly Member of the Area, Hon. Ibrahim Ayuba express his gratitude to Torgbui Tenuvi II for the support. 



He noted that the support will go a long way in the lives of the victims.


"I will like to use this opportunity on behalf of the Chiefs, Opinion Leaders, my Unit Committee members and the Logove Electoral Area to express our heartfelt gratitude to Torgbui Tenuvi II for this great support, Infact we were not expecting this but we thank God he remembered us. I promise that the items will be given to the affected victims immediately from here and will be used for the intended purpose" he said.



Hon. Ayuba thanked the donors and asked Allah's blessings and protection for them.



Later during the day, Mr. Ayuba distributed the received items to the affected victims in the three communities.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Assembly member, the donor and promised that the items will be used for the right purpose.

89-year-old Fetish Priest crowned the overall Best farmer for 2025 in Ketu South.

  Torgbui Nuwordu, a fetish priest from Klikor has been crowned the overall best farmer in the Ketu municipal at the  41st National Best Farmers day held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Agbozume Logove A M.E Zion School park.  He took home a tricycle, 10 cutlasses, 2 pairs of wellington boots, 4 bottles of herbicides, 4 bottles of insecticides, 1 spraying machine, 1 50kg bag of NPK, 1 50kg bag of Urea and a flat screen TV. Torgbui Nuwordu beat 8 other contestants. Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country. The beneficiaries received assorted relief items, including fertilizers, mattresses, bags of rice, and cooking oil, to help mitigate the impact of the disaster. Presenting the items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon.
