Ewe Loyalty Foundation to Celebrate 5th Anniversary in Mepé with Grand Line-Up of Activities.

The Ewe Loyalty Foundation (ELF) is set to mark its 5th Anniversary Celebration with a three-day programme scheduled for September 25–27, 2026, at the Masito Royal Hotel in Mepé.


The anniversary, which is being celebrated under the theme “5 Years of Serving Humanity Together: Celebrating Loyalty and Our Next Steps,” will bring together members, traditional leaders, invited dignitaries, partner organisations and well-wishers to commemorate five years of service to humanity and the promotion of loyalty and cultural values.


A major highlight of the celebration will be the participation of Hon. Xornam Favour Alayi-Hussey, NDC Women’s Organizer Hopeful for Ketu South, who is billed to attend as the Keynote Speaker.


Other invited dignitaries include Hon. Isaac Kuwornu, Assembly Member for the Kua Electoral Area in Sogakope, South Tongu, as well as Hon. Yvette Emefa Greve, NDC Deputy Women’s Organizer for Central Tongu; Mr. Johnpaul Semavor, CEO of Volta Peak Boutique Hotel and NDC Volta Regional Deputy Secretary Aspirant; and Hon. Donald Brown Dzameshie, former 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the Akatsi South Constituency.


The anniversary celebration will also be graced by traditional leaders, including Torgbe Kwasi Maklalo Nego VI, Acting President of the Mepe Traditional Council, and MAMAGA Adzo Sreku V, Queen of the Mepe Traditional Area.


According to the programme, the three-day celebration will feature a wide range of activities, including health screening and education, pool party and fun games, a float, Borborbor Night, grand durbar, skills training, Wine and Black Awards Night, cultural and competitive activities, thanksgiving service, football and volleyball matches, and other fun games.


The Wine and Black Awards Night will also feature a number of competitions, including pictionary and art, musical chairs and dancing competitions.


The Foundation has further invited two organisations to participate in the celebration: Volta My Pride and My Culture and My Pride.


All executives of the Ewe Loyalty Foundation are expected to be present for the anniversary celebration, including the Founder, Mr. Julius Kukubor.


The event is expected to provide an opportunity for the Foundation to reflect on its achievements over the past five years, celebrate its members and supporters, strengthen its commitment to community service and unveil its vision for the next phase of its activities.


The anniversary will run from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Masito Royal Hotel, Mepé.

89-year-old Fetish Priest crowned the overall Best farmer for 2025 in Ketu South.

  Torgbui Nuwordu, a fetish priest from Klikor has been crowned the overall best farmer in the Ketu municipal at the  41st National Best Farmers day held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Agbozume Logove A M.E Zion School park.  He took home a tricycle, 10 cutlasses, 2 pairs of wellington boots, 4 bottles of herbicides, 4 bottles of insecticides, 1 spraying machine, 1 50kg bag of NPK, 1 50kg bag of Urea and a flat screen TV. Torgbui Nuwordu beat 8 other contestants. Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country. The beneficiaries received assorted relief items, including fertilizers, mattresses, bags of rice, and cooking oil, to help mitigate the impact of the disaster. Presenting the items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worklatsi, at the premises of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly on Thursday, July 30, 2026, the Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr. Ferguson Ahorlu, noted that the value of the destroyed farms far exceeded the relief package provided.
