GlobeServe Ministries International to Mark 30th Anniversary.

GlobeServe Ministries International is set to mark its 30th anniversary with a grand celebration from August 27 to 30, 2026, at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale.


The four-day anniversary celebration will bring together church leaders, members, partners, friends, and well-wishers to commemorate three decades of ministry, service, and the transformation of lives through the Gospel.


GlobeServe Ministries International was founded by Rev. Samuel Anthony Kofi Dunya and his wife, Mrs. Jonhild Dunya, with the ministry beginning at Mafi Adidome in the Volta Region.


Over the past 30 years, the ministry has grown and expanded its impact, touching lives and serving communities while remaining committed to its Christian mission.


The 30th anniversary celebration is being held under the theme of “Celebrating God’s Faithfulness and Advancing the Mission,” with the overarching message: “Honoring Our Past, Celebrating Our Present, Believing for Our Future.”


The anniversary is described not merely as a milestone, but as a testimony of God’s faithfulness, grace, and guidance throughout the ministry’s three decades of existence.


The programme will feature morning and evening sessions from August 27 to 30, with prominent ministers and guests expected to participate.


Among those featured on the anniversary publicity are Rev. Samuel A.K. Dunya Snr., Founder and President of GlobeServe Ministries International; Rev. Philip Tutu; and Special Guest Speaker, Pastor Wayne James.


The ministry is inviting the general public, partners, friends, and members of the GlobeServe family to join the celebration and give thanks to God for His goodness, the lives transformed, and the communities impacted through the ministry.


As GlobeServe Ministries International celebrates 30 years of faithful service, the anniversary also looks ahead to a new chapter of advancing its mission and continuing its service to God and humanity.

89-year-old Fetish Priest crowned the overall Best farmer for 2025 in Ketu South.

  Torgbui Nuwordu, a fetish priest from Klikor has been crowned the overall best farmer in the Ketu municipal at the  41st National Best Farmers day held on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Agbozume Logove A M.E Zion School park.  He took home a tricycle, 10 cutlasses, 2 pairs of wellington boots, 4 bottles of herbicides, 4 bottles of insecticides, 1 spraying machine, 1 50kg bag of NPK, 1 50kg bag of Urea and a flat screen TV. Torgbui Nuwordu beat 8 other contestants. His scale of operation includes maize 62.5 acres, Cassava 52 acres, Okro 10 acres, Cowpea 10 acres, Chilli Paper 5 acres, Coconut 5 acres, 20 Cattle, 30 goats, 10 sheeps, 10 Turkeys, 20 Guinea Fowls, 20 doves and 175 local poultry The over 60 years experience farmer receiving his award, thanked the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country. The beneficiaries received assorted relief items, including fertilizers, mattresses, bags of rice, and cooking oil, to help mitigate the impact of the disaster. Presenting the items on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worklatsi, at the premises of the Ketu South Municipal Assembly on Thursday, July 30, 2026, the Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Mr. Ferguson Ahorlu, noted that the value of the destroyed farms far exceeded the relief package provided.
