Ayuba Files to Contest NDC Zongo Caucus Coordinator Position in Ketu South.

Hon. Ibrahim Ayuba, Assembly Member for the Logove Electoral Area, has officially filed his nomination to contest for the position of Zongo Caucus Coordinator of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ketu South Constituency.


Ayuba filed his nomination on Tuesday, September 23, 2026, at the party’s constituency office in Aflao, formally confirming his bid for the position ahead of the NDC’s upcoming constituency elections.


His supporters say he brings extensive grassroots experience to the contest, having maintained close ties with party members and residents within the constituency over the years.


They describe the Logove Assembly Member as humble, accessible and approachable, arguing that his longstanding involvement with grassroots politics and Zongo communities gives him practical knowledge of the concerns of the people he seeks to represent.


According to his campaign team, Ayuba combines political experience with what they describe as “home knowledge, street experience and a Zongo heart.”


Some of his supporters have nicknamed him the “Zongo Ambassador” and “Zongo Redeemer,” reflecting their confidence in his ability to champion the interests of Zongo communities within the party.


The campaign is urging delegates to assess candidates based on accessibility, grassroots engagement and their willingness to listen to ordinary party members.


“Vote for someone who will sit with you, listen to you and be accessible at all times,” his supporters said.


Ayuba is not new to the contest for the Zongo Caucus Coordinator position, having previously sought the same office. His latest bid therefore represents another attempt to secure the mandate of delegates and lead the NDC’s Zongo Caucus in Ketu South.


With his nomination successfully filed, Ayuba and his campaign team are expected to intensify engagements with delegates ahead of the constituency elections.


His campaign is being prosecuted under the slogan:


“AYUBA — The Most Suitable Choice!”

Government Provides Relief Support to Flood-Affected Irrigation Farmers in Ketu South.

The Government of Ghana has extended relief assistance to 15 irrigation farmers in the Ketu South Municipality whose farms were severely affected by recent devastating floods that impacted several parts of the country.
