Madam Xornam Favour Alayi-Hussey has officially filed her nomination to contest for the position of Women’s Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ketu South Constituency.
She filed her nomination on Tuesday, September 23, 2026, as part of the party’s ongoing constituency executive election process.
Her supporters described the filing as an important step in her bid to provide leadership for the women’s wing of the party in the constituency.
According to her campaign team, Madam Alayi-Hussey has demonstrated commitment, loyalty and dedication to the NDC over the years and has remained actively involved in activities aimed at mobilising and empowering women at the grassroots.
They said her decision to seek the Women’s Organiser position was motivated by her desire to strengthen the participation of women in the party and build a more united and vibrant women’s wing across the constituency.
Her supporters have also called for a peaceful and issue-based internal campaign as aspirants seek the mandate of delegates.
The campaign is being pursued under the message “One Wing. One Voice. One Victory,” with her team expressing confidence in the mission ahead.
Madam Alayi-Hussey will now proceed to the next stages of the NDC’s internal electoral process ahead of the constituency executive elections scheduled for October 24 and 25, 2026.
